Hello and thank you for visiting my site. My first novel The Rose in
the Wheel, a mystery set in Regency England, was published by Poisoned Pen
Press in 2002; the sequel Blood for Blood is a May 2003 release.
My love affair with nineteenth century
England
began as a child when I first read Jane Eyre.
I later gobbled up all the Austen, Trollope, Dickens, and Georgette Heyer I
could find. In college I majored in English with no clue as to how I meant
to support myself, eventually earning an M.A. Nowadays, I live in
Southern California
with my husband Michael and our daughter
Miranda. In addition to teaching high school British literature, I enjoy
historical research and travel to
England
whenever possible. I have also been
planning a cottage garden for our small suburban yard--quite a challenge for
someone with no green thumb whatsoever!
